Special Educational Needs ( SEN ) and Learning Support ( LS ) *** No ceiling on Special Education Needs assistance The European School Luxemburg I has for many years put a limit to the Special Education Needs (SEN) hours a pupil can have. This 8-hour ceiling was brought to the school's Appeal Board this autumn and the Appeals Board has now determined that the ceiling was a serious breach of the SEN regulations. This means that the school can no longer limit the hours of SEN, they should be granted according to need.
